Dominik Stehle has been appointed managing director of SAL Heavy Lift.
Effective February 15, Stehle will be based out of SAL Heavy Lift’s Hamburg headquarters and will represent the JSI Alliance worldwide. In the role, he is tasked with leading global project initiatives as well as the commercial management of the Orca-class newbuilds joining the fleet.
Stehle has longstanding experience in the heavy lift shipping and project logistics sectors, having held senior positions at the likes of deugro and United Heavy Lift. “His innovative perspective and deep expertise will be crucial as we continue to expand our fleet and seize new opportunities,” said the company.
Last month, two F300-type multipurpose vessels joined the JSI Alliance fleet.
