Spliethoff and BigLift Shipping will open a new office in the greater Copenhagen area, Denmark.
The companies have been steadily integrating its offices worldwide with Copenhagen adding to its combined forces in the USA, the UK, China and Japan. BigLift is a member of the Spliethoff Group and the two companies combined their offices in Tokyo at the beginning of 2023.
The Copenhagen office will be managed by Nicolai Stoltz Nielsen, who is returning to his native country after an extended period working overseas. He possesses a wealth of experience and is established in the market, having spent the past 10 years as a member of the Spliethoff-BigLift Houston office.
The creation of this office unlocks many opportunities for those in the oil and gas, offshore and onshore wind, and freight forwarding sectors due to proximity for future transportation needs.
