Caldwell Group, which is based in Rockford, Illinois, has named Brian Sochocki as regional sales manager for RUD Group. He will be tasked with overseeing the Eastern region of the USA.
Caldwell and RUD partnered back in 2018, with RUD’s portfolio including slings, hoist rings, and lifting points for complex projects. Sochocki will be focused on this line, whilst also covering Caldwell and Renfroe products.
“Brian brings to the company instant credibility because of all the relationships he has made through many years in the lifting and rigging community. He is likeable and knowledgeable and fits the culture,” said Darrin Noe, director of sales and marketing at Caldwell. “Having someone in the Eastern USA will give us more visibility for a product line that we intend to grow substantially in the coming year.”
Sochocki joins from Bishop Lifting, most recently overseeing outside sales for central Indiana. Before that, he spent 12 years in lifting and rigging equipment manufacturing. Besides Wisconsin and Illinois, he will cover everywhere east of the Mississippi River, including Canada.
In July 2024, Caldwell appointed Sarah Stitt as product manager for RUD’S equipment in the USA and Canada.
