Sarens has established a depot at Chingola in the Copperbelt area of Zambia.
Sarens has been operational in Zambia since 2018 and its activities to date in the Copperbelt area have been on a case-by-case basis. Sarens said the Chingola depot will allow it to cater to clients in a 300 km radius at short notice.
The depot, with equipment ranging in capacity from 20-800 tonnes and a highly experienced team, will cater to the rental, maintenance, and shutdown needs of clients, deploying additional equipment and local workforce as per individual project needs. The depot will also offer engineering services including rigging studies and method statements while adhering to safety, health, environment and quality (SHEQ) and compliance standards.
