John-Kaare Aune is stepping down as Wallem Group’s ceo. After a period of transition, John Rowley will join the company as his replacement in January 2024.

John Rowley

Aune joined Wallem in 2019 as managing director, ship management. He was appointed group ceo in January 2021.  

Rowley currently serves as senior vice president, global food and transportation divisions at product testing, inspection, certification and consulting organisation NSF. Prior to that, he was ceo of SAI Global Assurance and was on the executive team at Lloyd’s Register Group, as ceo Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance (LRQA) as well as the group’s Asia Pacific president.
