Roll Group, specialising in heavy haul and lifting solutions, has been active in the Middle East since 2020, with a presence in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, and Oman. The company says it is now positioned to become the second-largest inland transport operator in Saudi Arabia.
Roll Group has developed a new 15,000 sq m facility in Jubail, Saudi Arabia, to provide strategic storage and logistics support to key clients in the region. The company stated that the facility will enable the handling of the most complex heavy transport and lifting projects.
Additionally, Roll Group’s heavy lift barge, the RollBarge 1, will be available in the Middle East from February 2025. This will complement its existing heavy transport seagoing fleet, which includes dock-type and deck carrier vessels. The company also operates SPMTs, conventional trailers, high-capacity cranes, and gantries.
