UK-based Peters & May has signed an exclusive contract with Brazilian sales agent, BR Partners.
BR Partners has been named exclusive sales agent for Peters & May in Brazil for all marine craft freight. The partnership is set to enhance Peters & May’s reach and service offerings in South America, leveraging BR Partners’ expertise and network in the sector.
The Brazilian firm currently exports around 90 percent of the yachts manufactured in Brazil, with the majority going to Europe and the USA. The majority of these exports are destined for Europe and the USA, predominantly through Port Everglades with carriers such as MSC, Maersk, and CMA CGM.
Founded in 2009 by Jonas Pelegrini, BR Partners specialises in the export of yachts and boats and also boasts a robust freight forwarding department, similar to Peters & May. By leveraging each company’s strengths and infrastructure, this partnership said it aims to realise significant benefits, including cost savings through optimised shipping rates with major carriers.
