August 2 - The Project Cargo Network (PCN) has appointed its second member in Pakistan.
Karachi-based Noble Shipping Services (Pvt) Ltd has joined the network. The company began trading in 2002 and is headquartered in Karachi with branch offices in Lahore, Sialkot, Faisalabad and Islamabad.
The company has specialisations in project cargo, heavy lift, military cargo, liquid and dry bulk cargo, NVOCC and general forwarding.
A recent project undertaken by Noble Shipping involved the movement of a Gottwald AK912 crane, weighing a total of 1,200 tonnes. The heaviest piece weighed 143 tonnes.
The fast-growing PCN has 91 members in 53 countries.
