NTG Ebrex UK, a subsidiary of Nordic Transport Group (NTG), has signed an agreement to acquire 100 percent of the shares in EDS Worldwide and Rolls Freight, both based in the UK.
Founded in 1978 and 2002 respectively, EDS and Rolls Freight are Wolverhampton-based freight forwarding firms owned by the same shareholders. Operating from the same distribution hub, both specialise in customised land transport solutions with an emphasis on the Irish market.
The acquisition of both companies will both enhance NTG’s European road freight and UK domestic freight forwarding services whilst expanding the company’s presence in the Irish market, too.
Current managing directors and selling shareholders of EDS and Rolls Freight, Emma Pegg and David Keith Coley-Fisher, will stay in key leadership positions within the collective set-up. The pair will also reinvest in NTG Ebrex UK, mirroring NTG’s ring-the-bell partnership model.
The signing and closing of the transition took place on March 31, 2025.
Just last month, NTG acquired 100 percent of the shares in Denmark-headquartered DTK.
