Global crane rental platform MyCrane has appointed Ashishkumar Tiwari as its sales director, India.
Tiwari brings two decades of professional experience in India to the role, working closely with the construction industry, as well as engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) clients. In his career, he held the position of senior manager, plant and machinery for Reliance Industries.
HLPFI reported earlier this year that MyCrane was experiencing a surge in client registrations and project enquiries in the Indian market. “India is proving to be one of the most receptive markets for our vision to digitalise the construction industry and help clients work more productively, safely and sustainably,” said Andrei Geikalo, the company’s founder.
MyCrane offers a free-to-use service whereby Indian clients can access 300 rental providers, as well as thousands of cranes. Singapore’s Tiong Woon, one of Asia’s largest heavy lift equipment owners, has already signed up to the platform as a supplier. Tiwari said: “There is strong demand for cranes across the country, much of it driven by wind energy projects.”
