Logisticus Group (LG) has appointed Peter Mierke as general manager.
Prior to joining LG, Mierke most recently served as general manager at Mitsubishi Power Americas. According to LG, he has a strong understanding of the power generation market and has experience in operations and turbine manufacturing.
Mierke will be responsible for the planning and execution of all projects. His goals for the first year include developing a more standardised approach to projects; to help implement better controls around execution; and help projects be more scalable.
Vikash Patel, founder of LG, said: “While many in the logistics industry have had a tough time during this unprecedented year, we have experienced 20 percent growth since March. The addition of Peter will give us a competitive edge in the marketplace.”
