Scotland's Malin Group has formed a joint venture with Marint (Offshore Services) and Dixon Marine Consulting (DMC).
The new entity, Malin Integrated Solutions, will be based in London and will draw upon the strengths of the three companies to offer a comprehensive product offering in the marine and offshore sectors.
Managing director of the Malin Group, John MacSween, said: "We at Malin Group offer a broad range of solutions aimed squarely at the heavy lift and barge towage market.
"Whether it is project management, heavy haulage and crane hire, detailed design and stability calculations, or the design, fabrication and installation of sea-fastenings, grillages, lifting beams and transport jigs and cradles, we can offer all services in house by member companies run by a single project manager and technical team.
"Working with Marint and DMC allows us to expand this offering into a much wider market while bringing the services and expertise they have to our own projects."
Marint has a long history in international towage, salvage and offshore chartering, offering access to a worldwide network of tugs, offshore support vessels, barges and specialist semi-submersible vessels.
DMC, meanwhile, provides shipbroking, marine consultancy and business development services with a specialist focus on subsea and project support vessels.
