Airpes – a manufacturer of lifting, weighing and under-the-jib equipment – has appointed Alex Lozano as technical director for the Americas.
Lozano transitioned from the company’s headquarters in Barcelona, Spain. As the pandemic eases, his role will evolve into a site-based, customer-facing position.
Airpes said that Lozano has completed a number of notable projects recently, including a capacity upgrade of hulking lifting attachments for General Electric, a company for which he has also led training and technical assistance programmes.
Tad Dunville, general manager at Airpes Americas, said: “We are looking to Alex to commission equipment, inspect and make repairs, and help program proprietary devices.”
