November 2 - Logistics company Logwin has taken a one-third stake in the Auckland, New Zealand-based freight forwarder Supply Chain International (SCI).
Luxembourg-based Logwin, said the move gives it entry to what it sees as an "attractive market", with the deal also "reinforcing its regional position in the Oceania region".
SCI, a subsidiary of Auckland-based Supply Chain Solutions, operates five branches in Australia and currently offers services in the movement of project cargoes worldwide.
Logwin said the acquisition both expands its presence in the global air and sea freight arena and allows SCI's customers access to its own international network.
