Spedition Kübler will take control of Daher’s heavy transport department in Germany.
Daher Projects GmbH will become part of Kübler’s business on January 1, 2021.
France-headquartered Daher said the divestment follows its decision to focus on its core lines of business, including aircraft construction, aerospace equipment and system logistics.
40 Daher Projects GmbH employees at four locations will transition across to Kübler. Business activity at Daher will be unaffected by the deal and all contract personnel will remain in place.
Kübler will take over an extensive heavy-duty fleet of road and rail equipment comprising roughly 100 special wagons, including a 32-axle rail wagon with a payload of up to 454 tonnes.
