Kuehne+Nagel (K+N) is organising the heavy lift logistics and module transportation for Shell’s hydroprocessed esters and fatty acids (HEFA) biofuels project in the Netherlands.
K+N said that the plant will be one of the largest commercial production facilities in Europe to produce sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) and renewable diesel made from waste. Located in Rotterdam, the facility is expected to start production in 2024.
