July 19 - Heavy lift shipping line Intermarine LLC has appointed Ask Munck as managing director of worldwide chartering services on a permanent basis.
Munck replaces Lars Juhl, following his decision to step-down due to long-term health concerns.

He has been a tremendous asset to Intermarine, played a key role in our merger with Scan-Trans and is regarded as one of the finest leaders in the industry," said Alfred J.V. Stanley, president and ceo, Intermarine. "At the same time, I understand Lars' need to focus on his health and family."
Juhl went on leave in April 2013 to address his medical concerns and in that time Munck, then cfo and human resources director of Europe, stepped into the position on an interim basis.
