Port agency and maritime services company Inchcape Shipping Services has opened a new office in the port of Arica, Chile.

The office places the company close to the Peruvian border and at the gateway to parts of Peru, Bolivia and Brazil. Inchcape said that Arica Port handles a variety of goods, including oil and gas equipment and project cargo. 

Rodrigo Narvaez heads up the office, which opened on September 1, 2024.

In August 2024, Inchcape opened an office in Manila, the Philippines, as part of efforts to consolidate its position in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region.
