HLPFI’s deputy editor Sophie Barnes was presented with the Multipurpose Cargo Logistics Journalist of the Year award, sponsored by OIA Global, at the Seahorse Freight Association Journalist Awards held on December 11, 2023 in London.
In addition to her win, Sophie was also named runner up in the Feature Journalist of the Year category, sponsored by Multimodal.
HLPFI correspondent Phil Hastings was rewarded with the runner up prize in the Multipurpose Cargo Logistics Journalist of the Year category.
Damian Brett, editor of HLPFI’s sister publication Air Cargo News, was awarded runner-up in the Air Cargo Journalist of the Year category, sponsored by TIACA. The winner of the same category was Megan Ramsay - regular correspondent for HLPFI.
The Seahorse Freight Association Journalist Awards, held in partnership with AAL Shipping, saw over 150 journalists, PR and marketing professionals come together in London to celebrate the achievements of journalists covering the transport and logistics sector.
