Hendrik Veder Group, a supplier of steel wire rope and synthetic rope products, and Dutch Steel Fabricators (DSF) have signed a merger following several years of collaboration.
Mainly active in the offshore, maritime, and commercial construction sectors, this merged entity will have a combined revenue surpassing EUR100 million (USD109.1 million). It will provide lifting and rigging solutions, along with a wide range of steel construction services.
Hendrik Veder Group is headquartered at the port of Rotterdam and has locations in the Netherlands, the UK, Norway, and Spain. It supplies products and services in steel wire rope and synthetic rope, with a team of global riggers who – as well as providing installation work – execute load testing, inspections, maintenance, and certifications for their clients.
DSF is a dedicated group of steel construction firms delivering steel solutions to clients in the offshore, maritime, commercial construction, and leisure industries. DSF has an in-house design, development, and engineering department that allows it to offer complete turnkey solutions including certification and quality assurance.
Two companies within the DSF Group – Gouda Constructie and Breda Constructie – will collaborate with Hendrik Veder to offer an expanded range of lifting and rigging solutions to clients in the offshore and maritime industries. The other companies within the DSF Group will continue their operations separately.
Earlier this month, Hendrik Veder Group strengthened its ties with Lift-Tex for business in the UK.
