Magma Aviation – a Chapman Freeborn Company and member of Avia Solutions Group – has promoted Tom Helyar to chief strategy officer.

Helyar joined Magma Aviation in 2011 as financial controller progressing to commercial manager and then general manager in 2015.

Magma Aviation said that this role will enable Helyar to take a more in-depth strategic position within the business, primarily focussed on strategic leadership and operations.
