Gruber Logistics opened a branch office in Dubai, UAE, during the summer.
This branch is Gruber’s first in the region. Initially, the company will focus on project cargo shipments, as well as air and sea freight transportation.
“With our local presence in Dubai, we are anchoring our innovative logistics services even more firmly in this region. In this dynamic economic region, there is a strong focus on digitalisation and sustainability, and we are very capable in meeting these client requirements because we have been playing a pioneering role in these topics for years,” said Samar Helmy, director business unit project cargo, air and ocean.
Helmy will manage the office alongside Carsten Sommer, executive director business unit project cargo, air and ocean.
In September, Gruber Logistics appointed Rifat Cicek as branch director in Türkiye. He was tasked with expanding the team and opening more branches in addition to Istanbul and Izmir. It expanded into the Turkish market at the start of 2023.
