GAC Group has opened an office in the port of Taichung, Taiwan.
Adding to its other two offices in Kaohsiung and Taipei, the group selected Taichung to support the port’s offshore energy industry.
According to GAC, the port is set to become the leading provider of offshore wind power in the Asia-Pacific region, which means an office in Taichung will be strategic for responding to the growing demand for support services.
GAC Group vice president for Asia Pacific and Indian Subcontinent, Daniel Nordberg, said: “By investing in the new office at Taichung, GAC is demonstrating our commitment and confidence in the Taiwan market, where we have been providing services for more than 20 years.”
