Fracht opened its first office in India on February 22. Based in Mumbai, the Indian outfit will be led by two industry veterans – Captain V.P Rajesh and Rajnish Tiwari.
Rajesh and Tiwari initially founded KOG Transport India in 2011 before the company was taken over by Rhenus Logistics and renamed Rhenus Project Logistics in 2018.
Fracht was able to find an agreement with the involved parties to take over the shares of the company and become the majority shareholder.
Fracht India is already fully operative and has all the necessary licenses in place to handle seafreight, airfreight, trucking, barging services, heavy lift rigging, packaging and Customs clearance across India.
