Hamburg-based logistics company Fr. Meyer‘s Sohn has acquired the majority of shares in the project logistics company Breeze (Germany).
Breeze, also from Hamburg, offers bespoke transport and packaging concepts for industrial goods. Heiko Voigt, managing director of Fr. Meyer’s Sohn, said the company is “a very good complement to our global activities. The work on worldwide joint projects will be further expanded.”
Breeze will continue under its existing branding and will be led by its founder Hubertus Quasdorf, and managing director, Fritz Ress.
Commenting on the deal, Quasdorf said: “For the Germany company, as well as for the companies already established in China, India, Mongolia, and Australia, new perspectives are now emerging. In addition, Breeze will soon be represented at additional locations worldwide. With a strong partner at our side, we will be able to expand our presence more quickly – this serves growth for and with our customers.”
