Fesco has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with South Korea's CJ Logistics, part of the CJ Group, to implement joint logistics projects in Russia, Central Asia and Turkey.
In April 2018, representatives of Fesco and CJ Logistics will discuss the details of the first joint projects, which include the transportation of equipment for the construction of a synthetic fuel production plant in Uzbekistan, as well as joint investment in the Russian Far East.
According to Fesco, CJ Group intends to expand its network in Russia and develop trade routes between Asia and Europe via Vladivostok along the Trans-Siberian Railway, with the assistance of Fesco.
Fesco, in cooperation with CJ Logistics, expects to increase its portfolio of direct contracts with South Korean companies, as well as to continue the development of its project logistics services in Central Asia.
