Robert Erni will join Dachser as deputy director on September 1, 2020 before succeeding Burkhard Eling as chief financial officer (cfo) on January 1, 2021.
Erni joins Dachser from Panalpina, where he served as cfo and headed the merger with Danish logistics group DSV. He began his career at Kühne + Nagel and has spent 30 years working in the logistics sector.
Eling will be appointed as ceo of Dachser in January 2021; Current ceo Bernhard Simon will transition to head the company’s supervisory board.
