April 11 - The 4,500 dwt vessel Fehn Lyra (ex-Fluvius Tamar) has joined the fleet of Fehn Ship Management and will subsequently be chartered by EMS Chartering.
The ship was bought by Fehn Ship Management from the UK's Exe Shipping.
The ship has an overall length of 89.95 m, 14.4 m beam, draught of 5.82 m and a cargo hold measuring 62.3 m x 11.7 m x 8.1 m. Fehn Lyra is the sistership of Fehn Antares, which is also part of Fehn Ship Management's fleet.
"The acquisition of Fehn Lyra is part of our long term strategy to modernise our fleet," said EMS-Fehn-Group ceo Manfred Müller.
"We are specialised in this market both on the ship management side and on the chartering side and we are confident that there is a demand for vessels of this size in the future."
