Chris Easter has been appointed interim ceo of North American specialised transport provider Daseke following the retirement of Don Daseke.
Don Daseke will also step down as chairman of the board, effective immediately. He will continue to support the company and the board in his role of chairman emeritus.
Easter joined Daseke in January 2019 as chief operating officer. He has more than 30 years of experience in transportation and logistics roles and, for six years, he served as ceo of Keen Transport – a specialised transportation, warehousing and logistics company.
Brian Bommer, who has been a member of the board since February 2015, has assumed the role of executive chairman.
