Drewes Group has opened a new location in Böblingen, near Stuttgart, Germany.
Drewes said the move will strengthen its presence in Southern Germany and will allow it to better serve key industrial sectors. Marion Ranaudo and Lars Schmolke-Dammert have also been brought into the team.
Schmolke-Dammert joins as director automotive, bringing deep expertise in the to-to and breakbulk segment. Ranaudo will drive business development in plant and machinery logistics, leveraging her strong industry network in Baden-Württemberg, said the company.
Earlier in February, Drewes opened a new office in Vietnam, the company’s 13th international location. The branch in Ho Chi Minh City is led by Hong Do. As part of efforts to strengthen economic ties in Asia, Drewes is focusing on project cargo and general cargo, offering comprehensive logistics solutions which include land, air, and sea transport.
