Project freight forwarder deugro has appointed Mohamed Eltantawy as head of rail, effective January 2025.
Eltantawy has more than 11 years of experience in heavy haul and speciality cargo. He has managed complex rail projects that included obtaining clearances, partnering with carriers and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Having previously been a senior projects coordinator – specialised transport at deugro, Eltantawy also has previous experience at Mammoet and Trans Global Project (TGP), amongst others.
deugro has been busy so far this year, having made changes to its management in Saudi Arabia as well as increasing its stake in K2 Project Forwarding.
