Project freight forwarder deugro has appointed Steffen Behrens as the company’s chief commercial officer, effective immediately.

With deugro since 2017, Behrens has played a central role in leading and developing the company’s activities in the Middle East, having served as president for the region since February 2022. Behrens has over 20 years in the project logistics industry and has held various roles in the UAE, China, and Germany within deugro and previous companies, which includes DB Schenker.

Behrens will continue to serve as chief commercial officer and president – Middle East until his sole chief commercial officer duties become fully effective from September 1, 2025.
