Delta Cargo has rebranded its international product offering to align with global airline alliance SkyTeam Cargo, of which it is a member.
According to Delta Cargo, its aim is to provide customers with a common product portfolio across the alliance. The company confirmed that there will be no changes to its product attributes.
Effective immediately, Delta Cargo’s product range will include the following categories: general, express, critical/critical heavy and specialised.
Shipments of time-sensitive cargoes that would previously have fallen under the equation critical product offering, will now come under the critical/critical heavy category. Unique items, including atypical cargo or high-value products, will fall under specialised.
Shawn Cole, vice president at Delta Cargo, commented: “It is now easier for our customers to do business with all 12 member airlines. With SkyTeam, we offer consistent service and handling to over 850 destinations in 175 countries.”
