Damen Shipyards Group has appointed Marc van Heyningen as its chief operations officer, effective April 1.
Van Heyningen joins Damen from Fluor Corporation, where he has held a variety of general and operational management positions. Most recently, he served as vice president of operations based at Fluor’s headquarters in Dallas, Texas.
He succeeds Jan-Wim Dekker, who was named Damen’s chief commercial officer on January 1.
