April 2 - International forwarder and logistics services provider Damco has made a number of senior appointments to its Latin American management team.
Stefan Bengtsson has joined Damco as cfo for Latin America and is based at Damco's offices in Panama City. Bengtsson was formerly cfo at Kuehne & Nagel in Brazil for over nine years.
Sune Stilling has left his role as managing director for West Africa to become coo for Latin America, also based in Panama. Stilling succeeds Svend Erik Arp who transitions into the role of regional chief transformational officer.
Antonio Morciano joins Damco as regional head of ocean freight for Latin America. He brings with him more than 30 years experience in the industry, having worked in logistics roles in Europe, USA and Latin America.
David Juarez has been named regional vertical head of retail and lifestyle for Latin America, having previously worked for Damco in Spain.
Enrique Fajardo joins Damco as managing director for the Andean Cluster, consisting of Columbia and Ecuador. Fajardo has work of worked in the logistics industry for over 18 years and will be based in Columbia.
