June 9 - Crane Rental Corporation is to take delivery of a Terex Peiner SK-415 electric tower crane, which will be put to work immediately in Florida where two of the company's existing tower cranes are participating in a 12-month-long project.
This new crane marks a steady increase in the company's fleet, with the last 12 months seeing the company purchase several new machines, including Manitowoc 16000 and 18000 crawler cranes, a 600-tonne capacity Terex AC 500-2 and 275-tonne capacity Grove GMK 5272 hydraulic truck cranes.
Within that time Crane Rental has also added a high-capacity telescopic-axle Trail King dual-lane trailer to its heavy haul fleet.
"We are seeing demand increase in almost every sector of our industry," said Alan Ashlock, president of Crane Rental. "We are investing in new equipment in order to continue providing great service to our customers nationwide."
