Global logistics provider Geodis has appointed Hervé Cornède as executive vice president, public affairs.

With this, Cornède has joined Geodis’ management board, which is chaired by the company’s ceo Marie-Christine Lombard.

Cornède comes to the role with 30 years of experience in the transport and logistics sector. Between 2009 and 2018, he was a member of the port of Le Havre’s executive board. In 2012, he helped set up the Haropa Port economic interest group, whilst serving as marketing and sales director until 2018, when he stepped up as chairman of the executive board of SOGET.

Along with this, Cornède is also a French foreign trade advisor, which involves promoting and supporting the international development of French businesses.

Last month, Jean-Benoît Devauges joined the Geodis management board after being appointed as group general counsel.
