Global air charter brokerage Chapman Freeborn entered into an an exclusive partnership with Portuguese multimodal logistics company Santos e Vale to expand its services across the Iberian Peninsula.

Chapman Freeborn has reported increased demand for from services in the general cargo, aerospace, oil and gas, automotive, and construction sectors. This new agreement with Santos e Vale is to expand cargo charter, on-board courier, time critical, and passenger charter activities.

“This partnership allows Chapman Freeborn to enhance its market presence in Portugal and capitalise on the exciting economic opportunities in the region,” said Héctor Romero, general manager Iberia at the charter brokerage. The terms of the deal allow freight forwarders to ship consignments ranging from 1.2-120 tonnes.

Earlier this month, HLPFI reported that Chapman Freeborn had appointed Bernardo Nunes as chief operating officer.
