CHAMP Cargosystems has appointed Chris McDermott as its ceo, effective October 1, 2020.
McDermott is currently vice president passenger solution lines at SITA. Barbara Dalibard, ceo at SITA and chairman of the board of CHAMP said that McDermott will bring “a diverse industry background with a specialisation in passenger airlines, telecommunications and managing global operations” to the role.
McDermott will replace Arnaud Lambert, who is leaving the company after 16 years of service.
CHAMP Cargosystems is a joint venture between IT telecommunication provider SITA and freighter airline Cargolux.
