Bjørnar Bukholm has rejoined ro-ro shipping group Wallenius Wilhelmsen as chief financial officer (cfo) and executive vice president (evp).
Spending nearly eight years with Wallenius Wilhelmsen prior to leaving in 2019, Bukholm has been cfo at Sector Alarm since then. “Wallenius Wilhelmsen has always been close to my heart, and I am eager to reconnect with the team and contribute to our shared goals,” said Bukholm.
Bukholm will begin this role no later than May 1, 2025. Jermund Lien, currently senvior vice president global business performance management, will act as interim cfo from November 1 until Bukholm joins. The outgoing cfo Torbjørn Wist, will leave the company on December 1, 2024.
Last week, HLPFI reported that Wallenius Wilhelmsen had posted an adjusted EBITDA of USD503 million in Q3 2024.
