Royal Boskalis Westminster (Boskalis) has nominated Carlo van Noort for appointment as its chief financial officer (cfo).
Van Noort has held various finance positions within the three divisions of the Boskalis group over the last twelve years. He is the current financial director of Boskalis Nederland.
Peter Berdowski, ceo at Boskalis, said: "We are pleased that with Carlo van Noort we are nominating a strong internal candidate with an excellent track record within Boskalis.”
HLPFI reported in August 2018 that Boskalis plans to terminate its transport activities at the lower end of its offshore energy division, and will remove 11 of its “heavily loss-making" heavy transport vessels from service in the coming 12 months.
