Royal Boskalis Westminster has appointed Bart Heijermans to the board of management.
Heijermans will be responsible for the offshore energy division, effective September 1, 2018. He will serve a four-year term until the annual general meeting of shareholders in 2022.
Heijermans has extensive experience in the offshore industry, having served as ceo and board member of subsea services provider DeepOcean. Prior to that, he held various senior management positions at companies including Helix Energy Solutions and Shell.
