September 6 - Boeing has projected a demand for 7,240 new aircraft in China over the next 20 years valued at nearly USD1.1 trillion, a 6.3 percent increase over last year's forecast.
Boeing forecasts that the demand for widebody freighters from China through until 2036 will be 180 aircraft with a value of USD60 billion.
Today, Boeing says that its jets are the mainstay of China's air travel and cargo system, with more than 50 percent of all the commercial jetliners operating in the country being Boeing aircraft.
