Offshore support vessel and tug owner Boa Offshore has sold its subsidiary Trond A Kittelsen
The sale included the coastal towage tug Boa Sund, flat top barges Boabarge 31 and Boabarge 49, and rock barge Takboa. Also included in the deal is part ownership of the 400-tonne capacity floating crane Taklift.
Norway-headquartered Boa Offshore said the sale comes during a time when offshore support vessel (OSV) owners have been negatively impacted by a slump in oil prices and vessel demand due to Covid-19.
The deal came into effect on October 28, 2020.
