Dean Barley has been appointed ceo of equipment manufacturer Tadano America Corporation.
Barley will lead and unify the teams working in the Tadano Pan-America region, including North, South and Central America and Brazil. He has worked in the equipment industry for 35 years, starting at Benford, which was acquired by Terex Corporation. He joined Tadano in 2019, initially managing the integration of Demag into the organisation, and most recently served as president and chief operating officer for Tadano America Corporation.
With the integration of the Demag and Mantis brands into Tadano, Tadano America Corporation has undergone a significant transformation in recent years. Toshiaki Ujiie, president and ceo of Tadano, said: “Dean and the team have demonstrated what combining our collective strengths as a company can do to provide maximum value for our customers. In his new role, Dean will continue this path.”
