deugro Canada has appointed Laszlo Szentirmai as project manager and Mike Weiner as business development manager, Canada.
Joining the Vancouver team with nearly 20 years of logistics experience, Szentirmai most recently served as project manager at Panalpina/DSV. Prior to that, he spent five years in project operations at Transera / C.H. Robinson.
He will be responsible for projects and clients across many industries including LNG, renewables, mining, construction, emissions/carbon capture, power generation, and oil and gas.
Weiner, meanwhile, started his career in operational roles in airfreight, ocean freight and trucking in the mid-1980s. Over the past 15 years, he has held business development roles with Agility and JAS Projects. Most recently, he worked at DSV in a western Canadian business development role targeting the mining, oil, gas, energy, power, wind and EPC businesses.
