AntwerpXL, taking place in Belgium from November 28-30, has shared details about the two-day conference agenda.
The first day’s sessions include: project cargo – managing the offshore renewables boom; ports – being a one-stop-shop for breakbulk; sustainability – decarbonising heavy lift; and the current market – how geopolitics is impacting the supply chain.
On the panel discussing the management of offshore renewables will be Neil Golding, head of market intelligence at Energy Industries Council, alongside Thomas Mehl, board member at Claviate. Meanwhile, Linda Jacques, partner and lawyer at LA Marine, is set to offer insight on the panel examining state of the current market.
The second day will take a look at digitalisation and AI and how this will impact the supply chain, including insight from Bret Smart, co-founder and chief operating officer of Voyager Portal.
Day two will also see a panel discuss recruitment and how the industry can make breakbulk an attractive career for new generations, with input from previous AntwerpXL 40 under 40 winner and managing director at Trans Coral Shipping, Mahesh Singh.
The third session of the day will look at how stakeholders can collaborate for supply chain sustainability, with panellists Inge Taillieu, business development manager at DP World, and Jessica Slater, solicitor at LA Marine.
