January 31 - ALS' has shipped an excavator and thee dumper trucks, all disassembled, from Japan to Africa.
The company used the chartered ship's own gear, which had a lifting capacity up to 120 tonnes, for the loading and unloading of the cargoes.
During the unloading, a maritime surveyor appointed by ALS to determine the state of the cargo and sea fastening after the ocean voyage contributed to the efficient discharge of the vessel, and no detention charges were incurred.
The excavator and dumper trucks were assembled on arrival and will be used for the mining industry in Africa.
