ALE will open an office in Sweden during the last quarter of 2019 as it looks to expand its operations in Scandinavia.
The first project for the Swedish branch will be the installation of the Hisingsbron bridge in Gothenburg. The project is scheduled for completion in 2022 and will replace the existing Göta älv bridge.
Currently, ALE’s presence in Scandinavia includes an office in Stavanger, Norway. According to ALE, this location has seen rapid growth during the past three years and has handled several large projects on the Norwegian continental shelf – namely the load out of modules for several North Sea oil platforms as well as decommissioning projects.
