AirBridgeCargo Airlines (ABC) has expanded its international network with the addition of Dhaka, Bangladesh to its Asian services.
The airline will offer twice-weekly calls at Dhaka as part of its Shanghai, China service; the city becomes the 14th destination in ABC’s Asian network.
“We have been reviewing the possibility of Bangladesh coverage for the last couple of years,” said Sergey Lazarev, general director of ABC.
He added: “With the lion’s share of cargo being Europe and USA-bound, we will be able to leverage these flows, offering our customers solutions for various types of freight, including those with special handling requirements – including temperature-sensitive products, oversized and heavy shipments, live animals, e-commerce and others. Our flights will also guarantee Boeing 747F capacity for import flows to support Bangladeshi industries.”
